UNJUST Sign With COPRO RECORDS
February 4, 2004San Francisco Bay Area heavy rock band UNJUST have signed a three-album deal with the U.K.'s Copro Records for all territories except the U.S. The group recently inked an American deal with longtime fan and former FAITH NO MORE bassist Billy Gould's Kool Arrow label.
Copro boss Jose Griffin commented: "The band then sent us some demos and we were hooked, we couldn't wait to hear the rest, these songs were amazing. Imagine FAITH NO MORE theatrics, the ambient backdrop of RADIOHEAD, amidst the chaos and drama of MUSE. The band's management were in deep negotiations with a number of majors and we were nervous, but we waited, and all good things come to those who wait. Unbelievably, none of those idiots at the majors bit and this became our good fortune."
UNJUST's third album, titled "Glow", will receive a European release on March 22. The band, already veterans of the Dynamo Festival, hope to visit the U.K. and Europe for the festival season this summer.
